Macintosh Editors for

Amber
|
"Amber is meant to parse and display the
contents of a .256 tag plugin file, to extract and insert the color table(s), and to
display, extract and insert (replace) the bitmaps in the tag. Bitmaps are exported to and
inserted from .raw or .bmp format." Ed Note: One of the most useful and good-looking
utils, to date. Author: Vodi.
Current Version: 1.0 public beta 2 |
Bartók
|
"Bartók is a utility that allows you to
manage data files used by Myth. It can extract tagged data from within the game's
monolithic .gor files to use with a number of other editing programs, and it can combine
tag files into new .gors. This last feature is the primary purpose of Bartók. Note that
the source of the tagged data does not matter - tags can come from original .gor files,
third-party .gor files, or they can be new ones created by a tag editing utility. Bartók
itself does not allow you to edit the contents of tags." (screenshot) Author:

"Ok, so it's not the most beautiful name,
but it is accurate." - From the readme: "Its nice and quick and doesn't do

LPGR Edit
|
"LPGR Edit allows you to edit the Local
PRojectile Groups in Myth. LPGRs range from smoke and fire to the Fetch's soul. With LPGR
Edit you can change many of the characteristics of these. Want to add that ultra-cool fire
to your new map, but the default version just plain sucks? Want to edit your dorf's
bottles smoke to spit out swirling stars? Well you can, and not by digging around with a
hex editor." (screenshot)
