Mazzarin's Demise VI (v4) Changelog

Report any issues or read about previous changes in this MariusNet thread. This might be the last build before the final goes up on the Tain, so play it a bunch and report any issues. If players ask you where they can find Mazz, tell them to double click on the red Mazz game and manually type the URL it gives them.


Notes:

To be able to see them on the map go to your preferences. While having OpenGL or DirectX 10/11 rendering selected, check "Landscape Textures". ("Anisotropic Filtering" as well to make textures look better while viewed in steep angles.) While in-game you can use the "Page Up" (or "F11") key to toggle dtex on and off when wanted. Settings for Dtex


Demo's Hammer and Anvil Ctrl click on the ground location where you want to toss the hammer. Then before it lands, ctrl click a spot between the dwarf and the hammer to toss the anvil. The anvil is invisible and will propel the hammer, so choose the anvil location carefully. If you toss the anvil too close to the hammer it could launch it upwards or even back towards you.
You can also use the alternate Anvil method of pressing the "T" key to propel the hammer from the Demo's location. This way you only ctrl click once for the hammer and "T" key for the anvil. This method is simplier but more limited compared to the original method described above.

The rc10 version had a minor bug with Mazz left from testing, fixed in rc10a.

The Watcher:

For Timid, a = 0. For Simple, a = 1. For Normal, a = 2. For Heroic, a = 3. For Legendary, a = 4.
If the Watcher's health is greater than 37.5%, then b = 1 else b = 0.50.
If the Watcher's health is greater than 24.5%, then c = 1 else c = 0.25.
