@Warfare+ tagset structure update.. 6/04/01 Regarding collections... 28 collections seems to be max that can make it into any one online game so combine all we can into single collections. with same color table and use hue changes and collection references to vary... objects and projectile definitions also limited. This can be repeated for both the mechanized and soldier tagsets then the units can be mixed in maps.. two tagsets were being done to allow for smaller tagset size and allow for easier updates.. though with plugin patchers arival not so sure it just cant be combined into one.. collections.... not all units will be in each map of course but allowing for a diverse mix should be a top priority. might be wise to put effects and projectiles into unit collections as well.. if possible within color table.. two limitations seem to be present one would be the ammount of collections and two would be the memory... slower computers with the min. memory size for myth might not be able to handle more than 15 meg of unit collections still checking on this but it was something that came up durring tests... thats the level one cache size in myth so there might be something causeing a problem there... any way so far so good. Things are looking good on this end just a lot left to do. anything over 256 pixels is said to crash certain pc video cards but i got no prolems it working on a mac. color tables .. 240 colors max... set 236 as unit only 1- 240blue 2- 300 pink 3 -120 green 4- 60 yellow can tint these i guess but only 3 per would be best ie.. light green green dark green.. these colors then can be adjusted in fear. im using red 0degrees as the transparent color for aligning bit maps.. if done as second color it should disapear on maps if a red dot shows up in some frames let me know.
