Earth: Goblin Warfare

Here's the scoop. o'Tahk, still a bit pissed off about his latest incident, has garnered a formidable army in the Eastern lands. (Damn European Goblins.) With this new found military might, he sought to take control of the GOD BLESSED UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! The President and the Prime Ministers of Canada, Mexico, and those other Latino countries have created an alliance in order to quell this crisis.

Surprisingly, they allowed the Goblins of the West to carry out the missions. In their ranks are Lt. Sabin and Lt. Sabre, both under the command of Grand General Boro't'Haff. To execute undercover operations the assignment went to the Special Forces Squadron, comprised of only two soldiers, Col. TrikeSaber (intelligent and wise) and Lt. Tornberry (bold and fearless.)

First and foremost, General Boro't'Haff must hold the ocean crossing to America: Intelligence reports a large division of orange-armored troops heading towards South America. Intelligence also reports that a decent-sized battlion, possibly under the command of General Lestat, has broken through the Northern Defenses and is heading for Boro't'Haff's rear flank. Watch out for any pincer attacks.

If Boro't'Haff is to succeed in holding the crossing, his units are to report to a checkpoint in Antarctica in order to fortify a location for further attacks.

During this time the Special Forces Squadron is to assasinate a group, known as the "Goblin Tricksters" and secure a location in Northern China.

If both missions are a success, then the rest of the war should be a breeze and we can safely consider the Armies of the West victorious.

If the Special Forces are to fail, then Boro't'Haff and his lieutenants are to hold the checkpoint down South.

May all go well...

-IMPORTANT: READ THIS FIRST BEFORE DOING ANYTHING!

-Play with SOFTWARE RENDERER or else you will experience skipping and slow-downs to the MAXIMUM!

-I recommend: Software Renderer, High Resolution, Landscape Filtering, and 1024x768 (for slower computers, use 800x600.)

-Ignore the flags; they are only markers. You need not contest them.

-This solo mission uses a playing style different than anything you've come across thus far.

-You only have control of the officers, no one else. In order to play, you must taunt with certain units (of your choice) to issue commands to your units.

-Taunting with different officers results in different tactics.

-Read the tips for further instructions.

MISSION OBJECTIVES:

---Part 1---

-Hold the Atlantic Crossing against o'Tahk's forces.

-Beware of Lestats' units from the rear.

-At least ONE of your officers must survive!

---Part 2---

-With Tornberry and TrikeSaber, defeat all three Goblin Tricksters.

-Both of your units must survive!

-If you fail, you move on to Part 3.

---Part 3--- (Only if you failed Part 2)

-As your troops spectate, you must do battle with the surviving Goblin Tricksters.

-If all of your officers die, you lose. (Your remaining troops will scatter and flee.)

-If you manage to kill the Goblin Tricksters, you win.

HINTS

-TIPS:

-An officer (general, lieutenant, etc) is spotted by his or her different colored skin or uniform.

-If an officer (on either army) is killed, his or her troops lose their morale. Keep that in mind.

-Use your officers to fight in battle. They are excellent warriors! Do not let them go to waste.

-All units on this map have "ranging" health points. For example: take a look at your own units. Notice their maximum health points are not identical to each other?

-You cannot see your enemy's health.

-Each enemy group can commence a random strategy at random times. Don't always prepare for the same thing.

-THE UNITS:

-Blue units are fast but weak. Their health is moderate.

-Orange units are slow but strong. Their health is high.

-White units are fast but weak. Their health is low.

-Green units are both fast and strong. Their health is high.

-Red units are somewhat fast and strong. Their health is high.

-SPOILERS:

-Figure them out yourself, fool!

-Fine, here is one: Tag the real Marius in order to kill all of his illusions at once.

-The rest of the secrets you should find out on your own.

-Enjoy!
