Ball games are meant to be different then flag games. Mainly because the goals are movable. Since bungie gave them this feature use the damn dribble! I don't know how many times I have seen some one fall behind at captures or Scav hunt on creep or desert and just stash their balls and then send out a army smaller then the one that is defending. Dribble the damn ball (and your full army) right to their doorstep and then break it down! Never get your balls stuck if you don't have the upper hand. Because then you will have to leave something behind to defend them. Also everyone seems to think you need a dorf to get balls unstuck. This is total crap if a ball get stuck shoot it out with your archers a handful of archers can move a ball so you for sure know 12-24 on creep or desert can easily. While most people think ball games are pretty unkind to the middle I think just the opposite. The middle can get balls stuck along the sides and thereby create points of conflict for the other people on the map. Then after the two sides fight over the ball the middle can swoop down and grab the ball. This works well from any start on captures. Send most of your units at one ball and send a lone ghol at the other. Maybe you will get lucky and the other guy will have sent nothing for the ball where you lone ghol is going but most likely he will have sent a larger force. If you ghol gets there first try and get it as close to your base as you can and then get it stuck. Also on maps like spiderweb you can create safe havens for balls by dribbling them up with spiders or souless and having an easy time of protecting them.
