Oxbow II

version 5

by Gangrene

Thanks for downloading my map. It's hard to really get a feel for one though unless you know people who have it too that will play with you :(. Such is the frustration of third party maps. Here's two solutions to that problem...

1) Come play it with us at what we call "Monday Night Football" ('cause we used to play Slugfest STB games alot). We will be playing other maps too, both ROoF and non-ROoF maps. We gather in an unranked room Monday nights at 9 PM CST.

2) Play a game of Hunting by yourself by hosting up your own game by IP address. You can also do it on Bungie but try not to. B.net is clogged enough as it is :).

If you're still connected to your ISP, click below to drop by my web site at:

and follow the links to my map page. There you will find detailed information on Oxbow II. Poke around a bit, you might find some other items of interest.

Credits (or "Some folks that helped Gangrene out")

BifBologna, our fearless leader. He provided the wacky sounds for the Dwarf Marine and the Mercenary. He also produced the "Dwarven Poultry Unit" and the "Spud Dwarf," both extremely cool, unique, and useful. The Spud Dwarf is a personal favorite of mine, he's funny and deadly.

ClanKeith, also of ROoF, provided the "Enchanted Dwarf" and the "Dwarven Wizard." The Dwarven Wizard is an awfully handy unit in STB and is deadly close-up. The Enchanted Dwarf can help you make short work of the restrictive terrain of Oxbow II.

GodzFire, who converted the Spider Queen from Myth: TFL. Great job GodzFire and many thanks. I've been missing her ::sniff::.

The Regular Order of Fries for all their help and patience in beta testing this map. They've been incredibly supportive.

And of course Bungie, for making such a fine game in the first place and providing Fear and Loathing to use to play with, speaking of which...
