Ghols Ghols, at first glance, are weak fighters whose only use seems to be picking off small unguarded groups of archers. In reality, ghols are one of the most versatile units in Myth 2. Their ability to pick up objects and throw them is immensely useful. For instance, a journeyman or heron can heal a wight, leaving explosive pus packets that make archers into chunky salsa. (archers are especially vulnerable to pus, far more so then other units - pus barely dents warriors but blows archers away) Another very useful ability is to have ghols pick up satchels and throw them at melee, then have a dwarf, fetch, flame arrow or pus-carrying ghol detonate them - and the melee. Since the automatic reaction of most players is to protect their ranged units and use melee to kill the ghols, this almost always kills unexperienced players. However, it sacrifices your satchel ghols. Ghols also make excellent scouts and ball handlers, as they are often the fastest units on the map. Go ahead - spy on your enemies!
